Skilled Migration Pathways:

Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189):

This visa is for skilled workers who do not have a sponsor, either from an employer or a family member in Australia.

To be eligible, applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the SkillSelect system and meet the minimum points requirement.

Points are awarded based on factors like age, English language proficiency, work experience, and qualifications.

If invited to apply, applicants can then lodge a visa application.

Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190):

This visa is for skilled workers who have been nominated by a specific Australian state or territory government.

Applicants must meet the skills and nomination criteria of the state or territory that nominates them.

Similar to the Subclass 189, applicants need to submit an EOI through SkillSelect and meet the minimum points requirement.

Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491):

This visa is for skilled workers who are willing to live and work in regional Australia. It replaces the Subclass 489 visa.

Applicants must be sponsored by a family member living in a designated regional area or be nominated by a state or territory government.

Like the other skilled visas, applicants need to submit an EOI and meet the points requirement.
